Vietnam Viewed from the inside of a North - South Train Trip

Vietnam’s trains run through major cities and travel destinations along this narrow country, passing through vibrant cities along the way like Hanoi, Hue, Danang, Nha Trang, Ho Chi Minh City and more. Any travelers making a trip out to Vietnam should try out some of these train trips at least once to experience the beauty of Vietnam from the inside out. Gaze through the window of the train at the country’s picturesque landscapes from mountains to paddy fields and seasides. Get to know the Vietnamese people and learn about their lifestyles while spending time in your coach. You might feel as if you’re sharing the same sleeping and dining spaces with the locals depending on the length of your trip.

Train trips, for adult passengers, may be tiring and time-consuming but not for these kids in the picture below by Doan Quang. In their innocent and beautiful eyes, there is a yearning for adventure, discovery and joy. Quang met them in a low-cost carriage on the train trip down to Saigon one hot summer day in May 2015 and shared some memorable moments with them.
