Rollin’ With The Homies In Nha Trang

Iconic imagery is never very far from the camera lens in Vietnam. Lithe women in conical hats. Electric green paddies of young rice. The soaring stupas of Buddhist pagodas. And boys on water buffalo.

In this lovely image, photographer Hai Trinh explores a philosopher’s contention that children are the keys to paradise. Trinh captured these young herders having fun on a branch of the Quan Truong River in Nha Trang. The picture was taken in October, during rainy season, when the water level was high.
