Life on the Curves of Nam Cuong Sand Dunes

Located just south of Nha Trang, on the South Central Coast of Vietnam, Ninh Thuan is home to many people of Cham descent. Cham towers in this area date back as far as the 9th century. Besides its pristine beaches, Ninh Thuan is also famous for its ever-changing and photogenic sand dunes. Nam Cuong Sand Dunes are like a miniature Sahara Desert and a landscape favored by travelers and photographers from around the world. The best time to capture a picture of these stunning dunes is at sunset or sunrise.

In this picture below, Jet Huynh captured an intimate moment of local people crossing the Nam Cuong Sand Dunes to work at sunrise. See more of Jet’s images at www.jethuynh.com.
