Bucolic Life on The Northern Highland of Ha Giang

Located in the far north of Vietnam, Ha Giang is a land of soaring, limestone mountains, winding roads, deep valleys and terraced rice fields. Indeed, the Dong Van Karst Plateau is recognized as a Global Geopark by UNESCO. Travelers come here to admire its stunning scenery and to experience local life first-hand. The H’mong, Tay, Viet, and Nung people inhabit these hills, each tribe with its own culture, tradition and dress.

Justin Mott, one of the most seasoned travel photographers in Asia, captured a tender moment of a farmer and baby. See more of Justin’s images at www.mottvisuals.com.
